About Us

How we got started

We’re new, we’re proud, we’re here.

Passion. We all have a passion for something in our lives. Possibly, we are all passionate about our families, our kids, maybe our work, maybe what we do after work. We, too, have these same passions. Family. Also, our work, the environment, and the food we eat. As CEO of Westland Meadows, I have long held the vision, based on personal experience, of preparing food that I can serve to my kids, my grandkids and that are nutritious, grown naturally and without chemicals,

This is how we got started. Applying that passion to buy a farm. Applying that passion to buy sheep, goats, and cows. Applying that passion to instill a naturally developed approach to what we plant, what we harvest, what we produce. It wasn’t scientific or having a new process or new technology to improve farming practices; it was rather a simple exposition of our passion to provide foods we can eat and for people who want to know where their food comes from and who are very thoughtful about what they’re eating.

Our Mission

We’re ready to make an impact.

Emma’s personal passion for the foods she eats and the foods she wants to grow, harvest, and sell stems from having grown up around farms and animals, picking and canning fruit, taking care of animals and the products they produce and having to work through a physical condition, which created life-threatening conditions if not treated immediately. She experienced how critical it is to carefully prepare and cook the foods she eats, and now she wants others to experience that knowledge and that personal passion in the foods she produces.

It is through these experiences that prompted her long-term desire and now intent to manage a farming livelihood that produces a true natural array of products that are free from ingredients that can cause allergic reactions or other sensitivities. It is these sensitivities or allergies that make it difficult for people to eat farm-produced products treated with varying chemicals found to be in common among the mass-produced and even among organic farming entities.

What we farm, what we eat, who we are, what we offer – it’s personal, it’s natural,

it’s where you can get the farm fresh foods that are healthier for you.

I love working with animals and nurturing plants and watching them grow and then reaping the benefits from them, producing our own food has been a dream for me for a long time.

Knowing that I dont have to be afraid of having an attack from something on or in the food I am eating is a freedom I did not have as a child.

My main job is taking care of the cows and helping with garden. I love having the space to get out and be a part of nature.

I enjoy having better health from being out here so I can get in and help and do things I used to be unable to do. Being able to eat healthy has changed my life for the better.

I help with the animals and gardens. I enjoy being able to run and play and being able to eat vegetables from our garden. I feed the dogs and cats and chickens and ducks each day.

The chickens and ducks give us eggs to make cookies, the dogs chase away bad animals and the cats eat the mice and other things that eat our vegetables.
