Our Farm
About Mystic Meadows farm
Why farm in a natural manner

The CDC tells us, and maybe you hear it from other news sources or your friends and family, that our diets are generally poor in nutritional quality and do not align well with the recommended dietary guidelines. It’s also why poor diets can lead to chronic illnesses such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and obesity.
We also know the pros and cons of using pesticides in farming. On the one hand, pesticides kills off algae, controls microbes like bacteria, viruses, rodents, insects, and bacteria growth, all to yield more crop growth. On the other hand, pesticides can impact human health (as it did mine), can be harmful to the environment, and over time, pests can become resistant to pesticides
This is why we focus our farming to produce a healthier diet, to help boost immunity, strengthen bones, support muscles, lower the risks of chronic conditions, support the digestive system, and provide the nutrients needed every day to support the lifestyles we want to live by.
How do we do it
Why farm in a natural manner

We start with a simple premise: we know how critical it is to carefully prepare and cook the foods we eat. It’s personal, not just from experience but also knowing just how important it is to produce the foods that we can proudly say, “this is what we serve to our family.”
With this as our starting point, we work our farm in the manner promoted by the USDA. We maintain and improve fertility, soil structure, and biodiversity, and reduce erosion. We do not just reduce the risks of human, animal, and environmental exposure to toxic materials, we also do not use any chemical ingredients. We weed by hand and practice dense planting and crop rotation in the work we do around our farm.
Know that what we produce is fresher as we do not add perservatives. We keep toxins out of the air, out of the drinking water, and out of the soil.
What we farm, what we eat, who we are, what we offer
It’s personal, it’s natural, it’s where you can get the farm fresh foods that are healthier for you.
